SimMayor is a text-based city building mayor simulator that offers you full control over every aspect of your city. From the moment you start the game, you have the opportunity to customize your mayor, settlement, and even the names of your citizens. Alternatively, you can choose to randomize these details if you prefer.

Before diving into the challenges of managing a city, you'll need to set your starting budget and select the climate for your virtual metropolis. Additionally, you have the option to decide whether to face regular elections or maintain indefinite control.

If you're a fan of city building simulators, you know that attracting residents is crucial to kickstart any settlement. With a variety of residential buildings at your disposal, you can create your ideal community from the ground up.

Beyond simply providing housing, it's vital to ensure that your residents have job opportunities. By choosing from a range of commercial and office buildings, you can play a pivotal role in securing employment for every citizen. Whether it's working at a fast-food restaurant or a high-tech startup, any job is better than no job.

But managing a city goes beyond just housing and employment. You must also oversee the provision of essential utilities, such as garbage disposal and water supply. Neglecting these responsibilities will not go unnoticed by your residents, who may express their dissatisfaction on social media or even resort to protests.
